Exactly. I find that those who are willing to have a civil conversation about things they may have differing opinions on are the best type of people to have in your circles. Much better than those who will ONLY go on attack.

While I can agree that your country is in "a really dangerous place", I am not from the US. This was a broader question to the masses. I do, however, respect your opinion, and frankly, don't blame you for feeling this way.

Mel made some really great movies, but the guy is such an ass. I wouldn’t not watch his older stuff, but I would have a hard time agreeing to see something new that he puts out.

This is a really great way to look at it. There are so many variables involved, and it all depends on who it is and what their views are and how strongly they differentiate from your own.

That is a really good point. I have a lot of DVDs that were purchased long long ago, that I still enjoy watching. Although I’m not a fan of a lot of of the actors, I do enjoy the characters and the movies.

I have a really hard time with this, as I really love the Harry Potter books and the movies, but I absolutely hate what she stands for.
