Thirty-one years ago today I got onto a Greyhound bus and arrived at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, SC. Everything in my life that has followed, for better or worse, has been impacted by the weeks that followed. Of all my accomplishments, claiming the title of United States Marine.

The man behind him heard it and says "They have that here?!?"

Today with help from my stepdaughter, we used a second 10' by 10' dog pen to increase the size of our current setup. We now have 10' by 20' with a 10' by 3' entrance area.
Yesterday was the first birthday for our puppy girls, so this was a present of sorts.
