Oh no I remember. I didn't have the internet to look stuff up. I had to read a book and understand it. I didn't have stack overflow to solve my problems for me. I had to dig and find the answers. The fact they don't have to think anymore is why I think troubleshooting skills are all gone.

So a lot of the LED changing christmas decorations run on the same remote/signal. I haven't yet, but I want to slowly drive around town changing everyone's decorations around.

Kids today have no idea how easy they have it being able to google, copy, and paste all their code. Or using AI to generate everything for them. The "good old days" of having to look in a book and hope you don't screw it up and long gone. New developers are spoiled and it shows.

I have a dexcom G7. My problem is the app doesn't sync properly if you have your phone to shut off notifications at any point in time. Since I work thirds, and the rest of my team works days, I have my phone notifications off so I can sleep. So it causes everything to get all fucky.
