I didn’t watch it yet, but I always told people that. For one thing, the “unemployment” rate is the amount of people currently receiving unemployment benefits. It doesn’t include people who have exhausted those benefits and are still unemployed or those who didn’t qualify for them.

to begin with. My wife and I are both disabled and receive SSI and SNAP. We get $269 a month from SNAP. We have all the regular bills everyone has but live on a total of $1,450 a month, and we have to use $330 of that on top of the $269 from SNAP, just to buy food and household supplies every month
