Luigi doesn’t seem to have actually been right wing. He was just a college dude reading widely and seriously considering a broad range of topics. I think his actions speak to at the very least broadly left wing beliefs, at least when it comes to healthcare.

It really levels the playing field. I put the entire library of the NES on a NES Classic and it’s quite fun to scroll through and just pick something at random and see if it has anything interesting going on.

It’s so funny that Yusei amasses three separate groups of sidekicks. Dude is a magnet for oddballs. In the final tournament match they have to do so many cutaways just to check in on everybody who is just watching a screen.

I love love loved the way all the different intros built into that final crescendo. Such a good metaphor for the story as a whole, these disparate elements of rebellion all contributing towards something they might not even get to see. Good stuff.

I am paying all of these corporations so much money for the explicit purpose of not having to do this, but I end up torrenting everything anyway because none of them are interested in maintaining a decent library.

Clone Wars in particular it crosses the line from “haha isn’t it crazy this is here” to kinda frustrating because the show will gesture broadly in the direction of the Jedi Council arming & training the space mujahideen or something and then never explore the implications of that.
