The pewter-painted fan & starburst tooling on this collar allows for a pleasant decor option without breaking the bank. Main & buckle straps are dyed medium brown, orange leather lining is sewn onto the piece with orange-colored thread, & uses stainless steel main hardware with color matched rivets.

Quick bracelet as I wanted to see a honey yellow - dark brown two tone combo. These zigzag patterns are going to get so much use, I fucking love the way they work together!

Planning to make a collar to match this look as well 👀
A tooled, leather bracelet. It has an angular, zigzag stamp tooling pattern along the length of the bracelet. Using a two-tone block dying technique, the base color showing through the tooling is honey yellow, with dark brown over top on the upper surfaces. Flat and dome capped, antique nickel colored rivets line the center length of the bracelet, and the edges have a cream white, sewn border along them.

Playing with layered dye techniques and spur of moment tooling patterns 👀 the red and blue swatches use the same dyes, but flipped. The yellow and green is a lot of fun as well, very bright and playful.
Three, small leather strap swatches with fine zig-zag tooling embossed on their surface. Each is dyed a different color, red, yellow, and blue, with a layered, dye application of another color, blue, green, and red, causing the tooling to act like highlights. The surface where each's two colors blend tends to be darker, standing out against the colored, tooled highlights.

This week's been busy! Three, pink pieces ready for silver colored dome-cap rivets & steel hardware. Two teal & brass spiked collars show off a neat dye technique making the leather look like oxidized copper or brass. The yellow & black straps, & the color swatch demo are for upcoming custom pieces.
Two teal and brass collars sit side by side on a granite slab. Both collars have main straps that have had an angular border design tooled into it along with pebbling down the center. Using a dry application technique, was able to make the leather look like oxidized copper or brass with bright tuquoise popping out in the tooling amongst harsher-aged greens and teals. Three rows of spikes go down the collars, the outer two being shorter spikes, center line longer, tree spikes one has golden tan thread, the other jade green thread. Straps for two pink collars and a cuff set sit atop newspaper. The straps are ready for their steel hardware to be attached as well as silver-colored dome-cap rivets and pink liners made. A yellow top strap and black back strap ready for their edges to be burnished. Swatch demo layering desired colors, thread, and hardware together for second custom piece in progress. From top to bottom: brass buckle, leaf green swatch, chocolate brown swatch, pear green thread, and sienna liner swatch.

Can be mixed with other styles and detail work depending on complexity. Mainly done on gear, can be added to journal covers as straps, panels, and or mandalas. Stamp-tooling - $70+ Carved and or stamp-tooled work embossing geometric patterns and designs into the leather. Can be mixed with other styles and detail work depending on complexity. Main done on gear and journal covers. Lacing - $60+ Different from the Mystery Braid, this style has leather lacing braided through the straps or panels of a piece. Can be mixed with other styles and detail work depending on complexity. Mainly done on gear, but can be added to journal covers. Handles - $50+ Taking notes from handles on classic bags and suitcases, this feature adds a direct grabbing point onto gear. Multiple handles can be added to a collar depending on size. This style is not available for cuff sets or journal covers. *Most of these styles have more options than what's shown here. Other examples of styles are available to view via my galleries and request* A handmade, leather collar in my spiked, royal patina design. Lined with a rolled, dark brown leather interior, this collar has oxblood red straps, with the main band decorated in ornate stamp-tooling, gold and bronze painted accents, dark antique, golden-tan thread, solid brass hardware, brass spikes, and colored rivets to match. Two, A5 sized dragon scale tomes. Each have ornate, stamp-tooled borders and dragon scale panels. This piece was an absolute blast to make, as I've had ideas in my head for something like this for years now. Hand-tooled and painted sakura tree branches and flowers, antique silver colored flower rivets, and matching sew-on flower conchos make for a refreshing custom collar with natural imagery 🌸

This custom, sakura blossom collar is almost complete & I'm over the moon with how it's turning out. A similar idea had been in my head for quite some time, but never the chance to see it through. So when the client approached asking for such a floral piece, I knew what needed done lol.
