I enjoy creation in pretty much exclusively written form
Because we know that LLMs are the world's most complex autocomplete, joe is right when he says that telling an LLM to avoid something basically makes it focus on it, because every time you converse with the bot, it reads back the whole convo and sees that word, and gets baited

The unfortunateness of this guy's name being what it is makes this quote look less like a smart oppenheimer observation and more like a video game line from a fallout faction tribe or a random white dude in some dystopia setting

This quote from Descartes was a simple and elegant way to ignore a popular philosophical/epistemological thought at the time: How do you know if you are "real"?.
Cogito Ergo Sum
this started an era of "rationalism" that followed, caring for intellect rather than sensory input

Call me different but I never get distracted from what I intend to do when I opening an app. So when I read things like this, I think "is this really how this works for everyone else?", especially in regards to advertisements, which I don't think has affected a single one of my purchases

If anyone else saw Iron Lung, this passage reminds me of it because Mark, being an amateur filmmaker, made a lot of decisions only an amateur would make, but because of that naivety it made the movie a very compelling and unique experience that would not happen in hollywood

These are good questions to ask, but because they are so personal and would naturally differentiate from person to person, it does feel like this would bring less "useful" in terms of actionable info, unless care is taken to look only at the broad collective effect on the platform

I remember once looking into if there was a opposite to Prometheus (because he's the popular one in media), and there is, and his name is Epimetheus, and instead of foresight he is hindsight in a very "oh that wasnt a good idea/was a good idea" kind of way

While I am glad as a student not to have this additional burden, I do think that small quizzes worth 5% of the grade or so would be helpful both to Ashley to get insight into how the material is being absorbed, and as a student to make sure that I am understanding the concepts well

Never did I think a 82 by 20 foot sculpture of a woman's legs (and vajayjay) would be a popular Sweden destination for businessmen

Little known fact: The eyes of a fetus develop before the ears. I suppose vision is a very useful ability for organisms outside of moles and certain cave spiders

Not necessarily true, but theres a nugget. All professionals were at some point amateurs. The best amateurs then became professionals, and they implicitly agreed to create an environment best suited to their medium.
The amateur however, is newborn enough to see faults where experts no look.

This almost paints writing to be a bad thing, with the subtext claiming it is the cause of bureaucracy and unoriginality. That it causes mystery to be lost. I think the irony should not be lost what medium we are experiencing this work in.

I think visual space is not continuous or connected. Scan your bedroom left to right and right to left. Scan it in pieces. Look at random spots. No matter how you view it, I still think it is coherent. There are many art pieces that play with this concept

I cant think of any system of communication where the order of the bits does not matter. Communication kind of relies on getting information in order to be coherent.
No, information that requires you to do the work of putting it in order doesnt count

I will softly disagree with this. Of course, in medieval times generally people did things a lot younger. But there was still definitely a formal "childhood" It just ended at like twelve instead of 18
