When you imagine limitless possibilities with a limited mindset, you subconsciously impose walls upon yourself. People would imagine the possible technological changes with no thought to the change in social aspects, especially regarding personal expression and identification.

That's not entirely correct.
It's a cap of $20k per candidate per year and up to a maximum of $600k at an election, if it goes through.
Current donation/gift rules as of July 2024, politicians are only required to advise of donations if they exceed $16,900.00, which will not change until 2026.
