As years go by, my opinion of the PS3 being the best PlayStation console only gets stronger. Especially when you hack/jailbreak it, it really is such a capable machine. And the XMB is untouchable, it's such a beautiful and feature-filled UI system. Also, free online multiplayer! Simpler times.

Ghost of Yotei is shaping to be an absolute hoot. Hits all the right notes for me, as somebody who adores Tsushima. Time to get ready for the GOTY.

This is probably my last digicam pickup for a while. Cost me about 100 USD for the camera, and I had to import the battery for like 35 USD because I couldn't find anybody selling it locally. It's definitely one of my cutest cameras, other than my OG Konica Pop.

Started The Plucky Squire. This is such a wonderful, jolly time so far. Easily the most well executed cartoon art style in a game since Cuphead. I can't get enough of how adorable it is. Especially these frogs!

Got around to finishing Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake. I feel very full and warm rn. It's such a fulfilling game. The DQ games are unmatched in coziness and good vibes.

Booting up Uncharted 4 multiplayer in 2025 and it's still relatively easy to find other people to play with. I come back to play this every couple months or so. It has way longer longevity for me than all of the live service wannabes that is so common these days.

A bit deeper in Metaphor ReFantazio, and I'm starting to realize that I actually prefer the combat/dungeon exploration gameplay compared to the social/non combat stuff. We've come a long way since putting Persona 3/4 on Easy so I can spend more time doing the social links😄

Blasted through the first 9-10 hours of Metaphor ReFantazio in one sitting, got to beat the first "real" dungeon with proper bosses. This game is absolutely incredible. I'm sure it will have ups and downs later, but man I'm loving it so far. Can't wait to get to know these characters more.

A few hours in Metaphor ReFantazio. It really feels like the Atlus boys just made a straight up old school dark fantasy JRPG. Not necessarily old school in gameplay, but the vibes of the world makes it feels like so. Really liking it so far, it's as stylish as it is thorough.

Backloggd started a 2007 replay event. Pretty good year for games! I really wanted to slot Uncharted 1 in here somewhere but the competition's tough, haha.

Happy 9th birthday to Uncharted 4! As somebody who has been playing on PlayStation since the PS2 days, I would say that U4 is the best game that Sony ever published. It just keeps getting better as it ages.
