Jaws (1975):

Phenomenal movie. A classic for a reason! I can't tell you in enough words just how much I loved it. The way it's filmed, the acting, the music, just every little thing about the movie impressed me so much and drew me in. Funny enough it made me want to go swim.

Shifty (2025):

Right off the bat I want to commend the way this was edited. The use of archival footage and how one bit could correlated with another to rep its themes and ideas was really fascinating. Very haunting and profound. Can't wait to look into Curtis' other work.

The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999):

Having not seen any other movie based on the books (or the show for that matter), I really adored the hell out of this movie. The drama of it all really engrossed me, and I am such a sucker for these kinds of characters. Everyone did stellar.

Nobody 2 (2025):

Very much the kind of movie you would expect me to love. And I am so unashamed to admit that I got genuinely hyped during it. Love seeing Bobby just lose his shit on people and wreck them in so many fun and exciting ways. Gotta rewatch it like 5 more times.

The Naked Gun (2025):

It fills me with so much joy to not only see a comedy on the big screen again, but to have it be this successful as well. Such a dumb, silly movie that I adored with my entire heart. Especially as a fan of the original.

Apologies for the spam. I'm trying not to slack over here.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025):

There was a point in which I had to ask myself "am I not feeling this movie because it's nearly 4AM and I'm just really tired, or is it just not connecting with me in general". And unfortunately it was mostly the latter.

KPop Demon Hunters (2025):

A pretty cute movie that unfortunately suffers from a runtime that doesn't give it any room to breathe, let alone expand on any of the ideas it brings up. I hope to see something in the future that can hopefully fix those issues. Still a fun time.

Superman (2025):

I cannot praise this movie enough times. I cannot congratulate everyone who has worked on it enough times. The joy I felt throughout its runtime is such a wonderful thing to experience. My god do I love this so very much. Need a physical copy immediately.

Copycat (1995):

What could've been a pretty average movie is def elevated by good directing and performances from everyone involved. Like no wonder this was super popular to rent back then. Had a fun time with it. Def recommend if you're a sucker for thrillers like I am.

28 Days Later (2002):

Man, it's funny how I knew bits and pieces of the plot 'cause of an old flash about Halo 2 of all things. Using DV's to film some of it lends to this very eerie dream-like quality that I enjoyed. Solid time.

Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room (2005):

First of all I'd like to say how refreshing it was to watch a doc that didn't waste my time and stretch itself out to multiple episode. Second, what a fucking insane thing to learn about. Like way more ridiculous than I thought.

Mad Men S3 (2009):

What's there to say that I haven't made explicitly clear yet? I love this show. I love watching its characters navigate their way thru not only their personal lives, but the decade itself. This is top notch TV and I'm so happy I finally got around to it.

Ballerina (2025):

The story was pretty paint by numbers in a way that wasn't exactly the most engaging. But I won't deny that I had a lot of fun with the action, which I suppose isn't all that surprising. I just really enjoy coming back to this world.

Mission Impossible — The Final Reckoning (2025):

"Gee, Ethan! Remember all those wild adventures we've been on over the years? No? Well, here's a highlight reel of some of our best moments!"

It could've been MGS2, but it wasn't. And yet somehow I was still entertained.

Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning (2023):

I guess they were right about the algorithm trying to ruin us all. Uh, I didn't finish this till about five in the morning (cause I have problems). So that might be why my main takeaway was "it was okay".

I love Pom Klementieff.

24. Mission: Impossible — Fallout (2018):

Well god damn, bro. I really liked this one. Fuckin' great stuff all the way. I don't know what more I can say other than it's definitely going on my faves list.

Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation (2015):

This one had me stressing out during the entire underwater vault scene. Like I don't care if I know there's three more after this. My boy Ethan's gonna drown!!! Pretty sure I'm just a sucker for these movies and that's fine.

Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol (2011):

Here's where things start to get really good. Love the way it looks, love the set pieces, love the way people played off of each other. Really enjoyed myself. Needed more Luther, though!

Mission: Impossible III (2006):

A step above the last one in some aspects. But I personally feel like the way some scenes were shot kinda made it look ugly as hell. Loved seeing Philip Seymour Hoffman in it. Fun time all in all.

Mission: Impossible 2 (2000):

This one had me giggling the entire runtime. Just absolutely wild from the editing, the operatic music, the shots. Oh my god, the one where Ethan walks past the door he blew up after a dove flies in almost caused me to black out from laughter.

Wild At Heart (1990):

How does one describe Wild At Heart without going the most obvious route. Interesting? Crazy? Flammable?

If anything, the best thing I could say about this is that I didn't expect an incredibly violent version of Wizard of Oz.

Mad Men S2 (2008):

Endlessly fascinated by this man who seemingly doesn't know what the fuck he wants or who he is. I'm only two seasons in and I'm already considering this a favorite. Just fantastic stuff all-around. Makes my life seem a whole lot better!

Pete still blows.
