Football pundits, particularly the NBC crew, are incapable of escaping wind-up and recycled narratives. Our dominance is causing fine margins to go our way. Sadly i have 3 subscriptions to legally watch arsenal games and cant watch any of the tv crews. They suck, NBC most of all

Multiple choice journalism - football coverage in the US follows a short list of recognized narratives. No objective analysis. Little on tactics. SiriusXM FC is just as bad.

I turn it off

Wenger used to say that a throw is a disadvantage because it is 10 v 11 on the field when the throw arrives. I think it is dark arts, intended to frustrate, reset and rest

And by a 46 year old, who only plays several times a month, i follow two rules to avoid injury. a: 1 leg day at gym between games; and b: lunges during warm up before game. These have been key to avoiding injury since full ACL 10 years ago

The moment brings just a bit of disguise. Even Eze's touch away from Cali was a bit like NFL QB play. Our midfielders have been looking for that first time over the top pass when the receive a square ball in the middle. I'm giving it 1 part improvisation and 1 part coaching to look for it

Cali takes a knock and accidently intercepts Saka's pass to Eze, while limping. Eze seems to call him off of it bc he has an ideas. Like a Playaction pass, gvardiol and ake get distracted. I'm sure that's improvisation, but it can choreographed

With Martinelli doing well with Brazil, it reminded me that much of his support group have left AFC (Viera, Cuesta, Edu... you could add the diminishing influence of GJ9, departure of Jorginho) Is he an outlier in the locker room too? @gunnerblog.bsky.social #arsecastextra

Unless you enjoy being frustrated by sterling, you didn't miss much in 1st half

Salah is just a unit. I think his short stride is exceptionally quick and efficient, as good as messi. They both keeps their legs narrow. All of arsenals forward run with wide strides that block lanes. It is a feature of our game. Maybe it is affecting the injuries or more susceptible to fatigue?

Taking the nature of Kai's injury for example... not running or changing direction, but making himself big to block a shooting lane... the manner is which arsenals front shield lanes while pressing is deliberate and exceptional. Notice our forwards press with long shifting strides

Very interesting chart. I attribute this to the discipline of our players to hold lanes and positions in possession (limited chaotic movement). Are sprints a good measure of intensity in possession? It is intense to stand on the ball, even if standing still. Fatigue comes from many things

Ive been surprised at the amount of anti TG menu commentary within the Arsenal echo chamber. Seems more arsenal fans share this particular hot take. I stand my ground... leftovers were even better today, but any lunch would have tasted better with that performance

Wow. I need to welcome your clan to a table where everyone contributes something that took care to make. Peeling, ricing and perfectly cooking ten lbs of mashed potatoes is not small feat

Notice how narrow Timber was.... I think it was all part of giving Saka and MO8 space and forcing Saliba to pass forward
