I've been off the road for a few months, missed most of the summer. Sleep apnoea can be a killer. This letter from DVLA yesterday has cheered me up enormously. I see a trip to the archery club on the GS in the near future 😁

Something I did in 2014. Got two pages in Motorcycle News, possibly the highlight of my academic career. Before that, I helped design a hydrogen powered Tuk-Tuk for the Indian government, which got me a week in New Delhi for the Auto Expo motor show. Good times.

Go for it! I have been riding since 1978 and have never owned a car. I bought my R1200GS new in 2004 and it is still going strong - by far the best bike I have ever owned. Photo was taken a couple of years ago.
