2. There is a genuinely amazing amount of free resources out there and you can set things up locally so no one nicks your stuff

Exciting debate around how to join WiFi via email when you don’t have WiFi to get the email. How things have changed.

I am now in the auditorium. You could cut the atmosphere with a metaphysical quantum knife.

I’ve now clocked a few people whose faces I know but names I’ve forgotten. I sit paralysed between social expectations and awkwardness. Very much the Scylla and Charybdis of networking for me.

So far I have arrived, and smiled at lots of people I’ve never met, and not spoken to a soul. I’ve eaten a slice of pizza and the loos are nice. Well done Norwich Uni of the Arts. 10pts so far for facilities.
