I can’t believe there’s a show called Ultimate Ninja Warrior where the contestants just climb on various kinds of monkey bars. No fighting or killing or anything. They should’ve just called it Adults on a Playground.

Cornell hosts a bunch of livestreams of bird nests and bird feeders on their website. I’ve had the Red-tailed hawk nest feed on one of my screens at work. Mom, dad, and two nestlings. Seeing them feed, rest, and work on their nest is very cool and oddly soothing. www.allaboutbirds.org/cams/

One of the concerns people have about vegan diets is that they won’t get enough protein. This isn’t true for most, though it might be true for building muscle mass. But gymrats on a meat-eating diet usually take protein supplements, so I guess meat-eating diets don’t have enough protein either
