There are certainly other influences, but I'd argue that's true of all modern food. Gumbo, jambalaya, etouffee, po' boys, blackened fish all were created in Louisiana.

This is all true, as it is on all of his solo albums I believe. I heard him say somewhere that he did the solo albums because he needed a few of them to not have democratic decisions made on them. But they all have the HB feel to them.

I agree, one of my favorite albums ever. But there is possibly a disqualifier here. This isn't Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. His first solo album is Full Moon Fever, which was only released 5 years before this one.

My favorite Aerosmith album. The hits are great, but the title track and Uncle Salty are a big reason I keep coming back.

I'm against the death penalty, but it's funny that Texas picked this guy to spare when they kill more than anyone and this should be an open and shut case.

Psst. Hey kid, the dem voices of the last decade have been an utter failure, destroyed by one of the dumbest presidents ever, which btw many of these voices were involved in losses to another one of the dumbest presidents at the beginning of the century. Maybe we shouldn't listen to them anymore.

It's been more and more true since at least 1980. Reagan changed the game, both parties shifted fiscally right and became completely subservient to their big donors.
