Last week in computering: I took down a site by typing Ctrl+a instead of Shift+a. Not even mad, just amazed.

Reason # 54: Went to Les Schwab to buy tire socks, and brought my old chains in to ask a question. Person helping me let me exchange the old chains for tire socks, totally their idea. Also, I just like "tire socks," kinda like Hobbes likes "smock."

Hobbes (proudly): You can tell the quality of the artist by the quality of his smock. Calvin: Uh huh. ... You have to work this stuff a bit to get it soft. Yes! Published in 1970. The kid tries to make skis for Henry the cat, but it doesn't seem to take. Then when the family accidentally leaves Henry behind, he uses them to try to get home.
