Hereford Inlet #Lighthouse in Wildwood NJ was built in 1874. The light is a 4th order Fresnel and was decommissioned in 1964. The grounds are absolutely stunning. The lighthouse is a museum and open to the public. Photos taken July 2020. #FresnelFriday

Today’s lighthouse is the old Pêche Island Rear Range Light. It originally sat at the mouth of the Detroit River near Pêche Island. built in 1908, the lighthouse now sits in Marine City’s Lighthouse Park since 1983. The light is no longer working. Photo taken 11/29/2024 #FresnelFriday

Arguably Michigan’s most famous lighthouse in Holland. Nicknamed “Big Red” has been standing since 1870. Photo was taken at Holland State Park June 2024. While no longer having a Fresnel lens, the 6th order original can be seen at the Netherlands Museum in Holland, MI. #FrsnelFriday
