Huge loss—and so many undergrads would take classes in that dept that helped grow their thinking across disciplines. Not to mention the wealth of library resources on folklore relied on by researchers everywhere

New — Institute of Museum and Library Sciences employees were allowed back in the building this morning to gather belongings after all being put on admin leave by DOGE yesterday. Supporters have gathered in front of the building and staffers inside have posted a visible sign that says "SOS IMLS."
