#ArtAdventCalendar Day 3: Old art for an old concept for a podcast called "Into the Quiltbag", wherein my queer friends and my queer me chat about a variety of things, including the ways in which our queerness doesn't match up with anyone's idea of queer. I still hope we can do the podcast someday!
Various skeins of yarn with the colors of various pride flags, including the rainbow pride flag with brown and black (from before the trans colors were explicitly included), as well as the pride flags for lesbian, bi, trans, nonbinary, intersex, pan, asexual, aromantic, queer, genderqueer, agender, and the edges of a couple skeins that are shades of brown. From afar, the skeins look like blurry blobs of color; only up close do the thin lines that define them as yarn skeins become apparent.

En Meg is a dark skinned humanoid with long, dark brown, braided hair tied off with a star, a funky brown witch’s hat with a yellow ribbon, and blue and brown clothing. They have sharp teeth and a scar crossing their left eye, which is black and red rather than white and brown. They stand in front of a colorful portal, holding the “MOM HOLY FUCK” pose and surrounded by those same words. This is likely because their gloves hands are currently just Orbs. The entire drawing was made in MS Paint with Bézier curves and cell shading.
