Just finished Moon on the Crusted Snow by Waubgeshig Rice and am deciding if I want to continue reading Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas or pivot to something else.

Looks like my plans for this morning are settled.

The audiobook narrated by Andy Serkis is amazing and the Bombadil chapters had me laughing my ass off with the singing. I have listened to the trilogy several times since getting sick. I really relate to Frodo. Carrying an unasked for burden and slowly isolating as it consumes you? Chronic illness.

I am so exhausted of inhabiting this body, I don’t want to do it anymore. Constantly feeling like I’m held hostage in this broken and malfunctioning flesh prison.
