There are lots of ways to go about helping them "shadow" you and your relationship with Jesus especially if you work to not fixate on forcing anything.

So do your best to stop worrying about where the arrow lands an master the art of drawing the bow.

The fact that you even care to ask yourself questions like the above should make you feel joyful.

You can practice in front of your kids by;
- Talking to Jesus out loud as if He is standing right there.
- Read a bible story at meal time.
- Pray in the car on your way to drop them off to school.

You know the outcome you want, your kids to have a relationship with Jesus but you can also get in your own way by focusing on that outcome which can distract from simple ways to encourage your kids just by letting them watch you.

Sometimes you ask yourself,
"Am I doing everything I can to help them with their relationship with Jesus?",
"Do they even care?"

The truth is kids learn more from you by shadowing rather than telling them to do something or how to do something.
