Every story begins with a spark.

Mont Noir was just a place name I saw on a road sign in Belgium.

I made a mental note. Knew it would be a title one day.

A website can look the same on the outside, while everything under the hood is completely different.

Why it matters? Because performance, security, maintenance, and even sustainability all depend on how it’s built — not just how it looks.

Design ≠ development.

Hey, are you building WP websites for clients? Make sure to check repo's like this one and ask yourself which plugins you want to use on client projects.

#WordPress I'd like to know how @smashballoon
@AwesomeMotive are allowed to add "upsell" buttons to other products in the post editor on Posts/Pages? Clicking the X still leaves the Red button. This button was added when the "Smash Balloon Social Photo Feed" plugin updated. 🤬

Folks are mostly missing the forest for the trees re: the recent Meta announcement. Specifically, the focus on the move from fact checking to community notes. There two different changes that are a much bigger deal that have received less focus. 🧵 1/11

Hi font lovers and type designers. I'm looking at
Fontself. I like what it promises to do.

However I don't like the amount of data they collect (while being a paid app). So think i'll pass. Any ideas for alternatives that do respect your privacy in the sense of not collecting the data at all?
