A mini distraction that brings with it an imperative. If you are Secretary of War you need to be at war otherwise what is the point of you?

Such an incredible waste of an opportunity. They could have used that majority to transform Britain over five years, putting themselves in an unassailable position.
Instead they decided to fight the next election from day one by getting in the pigsty for a wrestle.

Mostly agree. We need a service that is fact based, that knows balance isn't giving equivalence to minorities and is wholly apolitical and doesn't ignore news that matters.
That requires total political and governmental independence and a balanced board answerable to, well who?
