So sorry to hear of Mickey's passing, from what sounds like cardiac issues compounded by the flu.
Condolences to her family & friends as they make their way thru the loss of someone so young.
I shall think of her now when I get my yearly flu shot and hope this community will do the same.

First time seeing the "Cliff Hogg Ball Energy" comp in the wild and sunk my first ball to the target hole, granted its beginning half had side-railings, and it could only move sideways. Was able to sink 2 out of 3 given balls to win a prize. Slow and steady, baby.

My brother was hospitalized over the flu in 2019 and we nearly lost him. That was before COVID-19. The flu doesn't seem that bad, but it really depends on the person. Please get your flu shots and covid boosters. Herd immunity can save lives. #BBsky

I know other people have said similar stuff but I think a lesson from Mickey’s death is to always take young people seriously when they say they have health problems, even if they look ok. So many people dismiss health problems that people in their 20s and 30s have. #bbsky

Mickey was one of a kind and I’m grateful we got to know her even if we didn’t always love her (kind of especially if we didn’t always love her). The fact that she’s passed is unfathomable but there is no doubt that her legacy will remain etched in our hearts and minds for years to come.

As someone currently overcoming the flu and as someone who did not get their flu shot…GET YOUR FLU SHOT. This is the worst illness I’ve ever had including COVID. I have never gotten a flu shot but I am starting immediately next season as soon as I can and I recommend everyone else do the same.
