Personally I only give 5 stars if it blew me away in its perfection. I have rated many a book I would recommend to others as 4 stars. There wasn’t anything I particularly didn’t like, it just wasn’t the absolute best. If we give 5 stars to everything we didn’t dislike, then 5 stars means nothing.
