On the other hand, Dunn Lumber is so good. I went over there, got help immediately, and walked out with the tool I needed to keep working. Trying, and I mean trying, to support the other shop has been such a waste of time.

So I try to go out of my way to shop local and support places like ACE Hardware, but they are the worst. @acehardware.bsky.social I am done wasting my time checking you first, putting up with your crappy layout and useless loyalty program and app. Just a waste of time.

DEI is a competitive advantage <period>. The supposed business geniuses in charge are too stupid to understand this, and too cruel to care. So market share, strong earnings and growth aren’t enough to convince them.
DEI being the right and moral thing is reason to keep fighting though.
