Positano, Italy. We were only able to see it for a few hours, but what beauty! The layers in the hills are echoed by the layers in the buildings, and the bright Bougainvillea flowers draping the city were an incredible accent on the views.

Glen Helen, in Yellow Springs OH. When I went there late last year, the bridge was in repair and the water was stagnant... Quite the spring turnaround for this gorgeous park!

Johnston Canyon, near Banff. Walking through the cliff faces was spectacular...

But there's so much to see around there that I'd recommend you get there EARLY or not at all. Waiting in lines while hiking isn't my cup of tea.

Looking Glass Falls in the Smokies, awesome (and popular) even on a cloudy day. Lots of people were swimming around the pool at the bottom (conveniently cropped out from this angle). It's right off the road, too!

The magnificent fall colors of Hocking Hills, from the top of Conkles Hollow!

The ridge around the top of the hollow has lots of great views, but this one may just take the cake. The cliff face jutting out over the valley commands the view.

Let's play a game called "find the hikers". These two sets of people were probably 15 minutes apart from each other, near the rim of the Grand Canyon. They would've been hiking up switchbacks for hours at that point.
