We had a good ride yesterday, starting from the Rotunda café, Preston Park #Brighton and heading out to Lewes, Hamsey, Cooksbridge, Plumpton, Hassocks and Shoreham! 🚴‍♀️

Brand new cycle slip at Newtown Road, #Hove!
This junction with Fonthill Rd had a poor record for speeding and collisions.
Trees will be planted in the spaces on each side of the slip.

Eight people came on the ride to the Laughing Fish pub in Isfield, East Sussex for lunch yesterday, despite the drizzly weather!
Two people on yesterday's ride, cycling towards the camera uphill on a country road. The Laughing Fish, a traditional-looking pub with benches and tables outside. The level crossing gate is shut with trains and signal box behind it at Isfield station, a heritage railway known as the Lavender Line.

It was a great turnout for Sunday's shorter ride starting from Port Kitchen! 🚴‍♂️ 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♂️
We used traffic free paths, cycle lanes and quiet roads.
Lovely views.🌳

A nice new smooth surface is being applied in stages to the main #London to #Brighton road, the A23, south of #Patcham. Previously this was pitted and potholed!
