I have a question for you @algetz.bsky.social. You mentioned during Bobby Shane’s time in Heart of America he was a main eventer in Iowa but no other states in the territory. Is this common for someone to main event in only one area and not the entire territory?

I became a fan of Charting the Territories because I wanted to learn more pro wrestling that I didn’t know. @algetz.bsky.social has taught me so much and I now get to enjoy not only messaging him but also chatting in person. I’ll miss the show but I’ll always enjoy learning thanks to Al.

@algetz.bsky.social You and @jonboucher.bsky.social mentioned Mildred Burke on the new episode. Moolah to me has more of a name then Mildred does. Would you say it’s because Moolah had more of the WWWF notoriety or would it be because she is from an era of not as much fanfare?

Want to give a shout out to @algetz.bsky.social and @jonboucher.bsky.social for Charting the Territories. Just finished the new episode and got the heartbreaking news. But still want to say thank you. I have loved learning about these territories and the performers in them every month.

@algetz.bsky.social listening to the new episode and I wanted to ask. You mention he takes the name Greg in Portland but would still use his other names if he went back to his previous territories. Would those places acknowledge his work done under the name Greg or did those accolades not exist?

This month Charting the Territories looks at Greg Valentine. In 1973 he spent 2 1/2 months working in East Texas as Johnny Fargo.

@algetz.bsky.social On your new episode of Charting the Territories you mentioned that the 3 top heels in East Texas had almost .500 win percentages. Was this normal during the time? Wouldn’t you want more successful heels in the territory or was that reserved for the big name heel coming in?
