This is really dumb from Trump. Most of his lies can't be verified by your ordinary Joe but the price of eggs and gasoline? Everybody who shops knows he's lying.

Well the EU countries which border on the North Sea were bound to use every step on the road to greater cooperation with the UK as leverage for access to UK fishing waters and who can blame them? In their position I would do exactly the same.

What is Trump going to do to Goldberg now? Should the UK offer him asylum before he disappears under suspicious circumstances? After all we are talking about a regime that looks to Russia for inspriation.

Curbing immigration is impossible if Rachel Reeves wants to expand the economy, build more houses, a new runway at Heathrow, etc. We have a ageing population and a low birthrate, we can't avoid higher immigration.

That really has turned out to be counterproductive hasn't it? Biden tried helping Israël with caviats and Trump will now encourage Netanyahu to do whatever he wants.

Raising literacy is a the job of the government so we can't expect that in the next 4 years if it benefits Trump to keep things as they are.

How naive can an American Muslim voter be? It was obvious from the other side of the pond that Trump admires and warms to ' strong leaders', such as Putin and Netanyahu.
