She was besotted with Johnson. Thank God Great Grimsby has Melanie Onn.

As I have said on here before, I have read the ipaper since it's Inception. It is now turning into a version of it's owners Daily Heil.

No such thing as a manifesto promise and anyone who thinks that is naive beyond belief.

Because it's the favourite explanation of any fact or opinion that doesn't fit the narrative of the right wing!

I thought it was the chancellors prerogative to decide the content of the budget and the OBR to ensure the figures add up. How revenue is raised and spent is a political choice.
The OBR should be explaining the hysterical pre budget speculation and Thier deliberate leak.

You know, I have thought that for a while.
I've had the paper since it's Inception and liked it's neutrality. Now it sticks the knife in the government at every opportunity.

The large brown dog is barking at the back door.

If only Fred had worn a condom, eh?

They would be the equivalent of Accrington Stanley playing in the premier league.

He'd still be criticised and be wrong.

Jeremy Paxman must climb the wall when he hears Kuenssberg and Mason.

I agree. Keir doesn't do razzamatz, knee jerk or confrontation which the right crave for. However, it is as frustrating as hell that he doesn't come out fighting when he has the chance. Reminds me of Sgnt. Wilson.

I agree, but as soon as there is any governmental shake up of the BBC, it's branded authoritarianism.

Goes to show that if you don't ask you don't get.

Speculate all you like, Adam. It ain't going to happen.

Lump hammer and cold chisel?
November 3, 2025 at 1:50 PM
Farage's complete and utter inexperience aside. How do they think with, say, 300 rookie MPs and a dozen incompetent ex Tories, can govern?
October 29, 2025 at 9:10 PM
Farage hasn't a clue how the civil service works.
October 28, 2025 at 5:13 PM
I think you might have a point there.
In general, it seems that the younger generation cannot do mental arithmetic because of reliance on tech nor write anything coherent because of texting etc.

Just seen the reaction to criticism of Badenoch on X by right wing trolls;
She roasted him.
Starmer is finished.
Starmer is a lier.
Worst PM ever.
It's one thing to pin your colours to a particular mast and disagree and quite another to have the mind, so wound up, to have to put it in writing
October 15, 2025 at 4:12 PM
It is what it represents. At the moment it's used as a battle standard or totem the same as a flag was used in the middle ages. To rally the troops rather than a celebration.
October 13, 2025 at 2:08 PM
Agree entirely. Trump can't write a note to the milkman never mind a binding peace agreement!
October 12, 2025 at 11:37 AM
I sometimes wonder how racists feel on a Saturday afternoon at a football match when 'their' team contains 5 black players and one scores the winner?
October 1, 2025 at 7:10 PM
I thought it was a misprint.
Who's the Nazi party now?
