the random encounter rate in this game has killed like 4 playthroughs for me every two steps and you're in a fight. im not one to beg for remasters because i don't have issues going back to older games generally but DAMN

I only played the MGS games for the first time in 2021 but playing the series through left me convinced that the tanker in MGS 2 is literally THE perfect opening to a game.

the original sh2 is less scary and more miserable but the remake is literally pee your pants scary every 3 minutes I was leaping out of my chair. amazing game

i remember getting the orange box physically as an 11 year old, it's quite literally mind bogging that people haven't played them yet. seeing freemans mind as a kid literally converted me to pc gaming
