So Trump invited HIMSELF to speak at our University of Alabama commencement next weekend. 🙄 UA hasn’t had a speaker at commencement for 15 years! So they’re creating an event JUST for him to speak on the day before graduation. You can buy tickets to go to it. What a jerk!!

I live in Alabama. This billboard is a few miles from my house on a busy highway. I guess if you have to try and convince people with huge advertisements maybe you’re not doing such a great job after all?

Scott Jennings on CNN last night said something to the effect of (Republican) congressmen were elected to fight the democrats and further Trump’s agenda. I must be naive…..my whole life I’ve been under the impression that congressmen were elected to work TOGETHER for the American people!

It also makes it harder for them to ban books.

I’m confused. When did it become Congress’ job to appease the president, or rather president elect (& his puppet master)? I thought their job was to appease the AMERICAN PEOPLE!?! What am I missing?
