I owe @darcyjamesargue.com an apology. More than once I made light of his complaints about the Mr Softee truck parked outside his window. Living in an urban neighborhood now where it’s getting warmer, I am coming to understand the actual severity of this. Let’s see if I make it through the summer.

I've been quiet here: 3 weeks ago we moved into our new place in Philadelphia and 2 weeks ago I started my new job (actually my old job at Art+Logic where I worked from 1997-2021.) All my music gear is still packed away to encourage me to get fully into a groove before starting anything new.

Spent the week back in my ancestral homeland of Rome, NY. Saw the empty (thanks to a freak tornado) space where the building that used to contain my family's camera store was. Also saw the newly re-lit neon sign on the former Revere copper factory, dark for decades.

Flying home to the US from Bristol after spending a few days at the Audio Developer Conference, still feeling whiplash between bouts of pure inspiration from the work others are doing and imposter syndrome from seeing the work others are doing. Lucky to work in this industry.
