Sorry but this misses the mark entirely which is: Hardcore MAGA votes Republican because of the anti-welfare and racist antics/politics, not despite it. So now that Trump ruined things for these hardcore voters, they want an "easy way out" as they would call it. It's fairly straightforward

acho que alguns ptos chave são esses mesmo: agilidade e confiabilidade. no meu caso agilidade não é alta prioridade, e qto à confiabilidade, eu vou checar absolutamente tudo o tempo todo mesmo então não faz diferença.

hehehe saquei. eu faço programação científica, só processamento de dados mesmo. Prog. não é meu forte nem curto muito, e pra mim tá sendo uma mão na roda. É como se eu trabalhasse em dupla com um coroa que manja tudo da linguagem e me dá insights bons. Daí eu pego e verifico td linha por linha

os escândalos de corrupção são muito importantes sim po, uma coisa não precisa excluir a outra, não acha? acho que a derrota eleitoral agora tem muito a ver com a percepção da hipocrisia do discurso, que faz as pessoas enxergarem a situação econômica de forma mais objetiva

it also provides networking between the higher patent military officers and appointed govt personnel. It likely gives the military some extra budget that trickles down to the guys with the "boots on the ground". no govt can suceed to erode a democratic status quo without support from the military

being from Latin America, let me warn you: that analysis seems to be incomplete. Authoritarian regimes need the support and trust of the military. What the govt just did is pushing the boundaries of what is perceived normal by the civil society. ostensible military presence on the streets.
