You and your fellow regents should feel ashamed of yourselves. This statement is pure garbage. It not only tries to paper over that this action is a spineless capitulation to fascists, it erases that your decision led to good people being laid off TODAY. Shame on all of you.

What a disgrace to higher education, Michigan, and our community.
The Regents and leaders of U-M should be ashamed of themselves. Of course they won't be. I'm sure they are gleeful for the dual opportunity to be lapdogs to Trump and demolish the DEI office in one move.
