Everyone's opinions are bad
~ especially mine ~
There was a stretch for a while where I used about $10 every paycheck and bought some Pokémon cards for my binder. I stopped because I was satisfied with how my folder looked, plus the only remaining cards I would've wanted were out of the $10 price range. ha... ahhhh... current prices are dumb lol

This is Teddy. He's probably not as old as me, but he is as old as my memory goes back, so I count him as a forever friend. We've been through a lot, and I have had to perform some surgery on him over the years, but he sticks by through thick and thin (hug)

So, my Switch Pro Controller was acting up and dropping inputs (specifically, D-pad Left) so I opened that bad boy up and gave it a good cleaning. put it back together, good as new~

could I have done it without the iFixit kits? yes... but these are super convenient, totally worth it IMO

So fun story - I got this many years ago at Borders during Black Friday. Their Black Friday deal? 50% your entire purchase. Look... as a customer, it was amazing, but... businesses can't just be selling their entire store half off lol

I love Aeon Flux. One of those shows where I can watch it and go "ah, yes, I see the genesis of why I like many of the things I like forming from having watched this when i was growing up"

Wanna know who my favorite character of all time?

... I'm actually not sure of the answer to that! I have a hard time actually quantifying lists like that, and saying definitively "this is my #1"

Wanna know someone in the running that has lots of available merchandise?

Asuka! <3

I personally don't care too much about getting games CIB... I just want them to look good on a shelf. And carts with no end labels and consoles that use a single design and font for every spine... those dogs don't hunt

The goal is to one day be well off enough to have a home where I can dedicate an entire room to displaying this single picture

I actually got this before Squeenix sold an official version of the Sophia portrait. I honestly probably would have bought it if the frame it came with was game accurate

So with the current poster shuffle, I made a conscious decision to mostly only put up video game related stuff on the wall, cause I'm a dork~

That said, I always keep this map of Vietnam up, repping my Vietnamese heritage

At some point in time as I got older, I thought about using something more generic as a change jar, instead of the talking Stone Cold piggy bank I had. Then I asked myself ... why?" and have continued using it lol

This was folded up and sitting behind a bookshelf for the last decade

Sometimes the coolest things you have don't have any easy spot to put them lol

It's out from hiding now and... still doesn't have an actual permanent display spot, but... I'll figure it out, cause it's dope

I actually have so many various things to hang on my walls and not enough wall to hang them all. These are both GameCube era promotional displays, which is funny cause while these aren't for specific games, their most recent releases would be all-timer Metroid Prime and also Kirby Air Ride lol

Back in 8th grade Woodshop, we got to use the machine to carve out letters and make our own custom name plates

"Does it have to be our name?"

"No, just can't be anything inappropriate"

I found a small mirror block, large enough for four characters ...

... pretty timeless, IMO

I use this little briefcase to hold various card deck boxes and the like. It is absolutely not as convenient as carrying everything in a backpack... but it is cooler lol

I don't think this is any kind of an official product, but we've had it forever and it's well made. I love how Mickey isn't the conductor, just... near the back lol

You know what I love? Stuffies!
June 21, 2025 at 10:15 AM
I unironically love the Xbox Duke, and had to grab one of these bad boys. I also love that it came with a little stand so you could display it like the art it is

Something I've found from trying to frame all of my video game posters is that a lot of these publishers are really big fans of non-standard posters sizes. This XS3 T-elos door poster would be obnoxiously pricey to get custom framed, but Command Tape works fine to have her guarding my closet

CD copies of Daft Punk's Discovery came with a little card you could use to go online and access remixes and stuff! Looking back on this era is interesting, seeing the different ways artists were navigating the emerging digital space.

Chalk this up with the art cels I shared the other day, only even sillier - a framed Wild ARMs 3 postcard. I actually do want to write and send out some postcards and cards to friends and family, because... it seems kind of fun!

My Special Edition copy of Evangelion 3nd Impact, the PSP rhythm game based on Eva. A perfect example of a product that feels a little too targeted at exactly me lol

A two-fer today... or a three-fer? - the posters included with the original SNES release of Chrono Trigger and my promotional GC Animal Crossing hanging mobile

The posters are actually on the back of the maps that were included with CT. This is what we've lost with the shift to digital

Check it out, it's my Nine Inch Nails Halo collection. Not complete, but pretty close. Trent shifting away from CD's the last few years is... unfortunate lol

Last year, my niece asked me how many Squishmallows I had, and I told her I didn't have any. She made a ":O?" face of genuine shock, the idea of a human not having a Squishmallow made so little sense to her. Without hesitation she said "Here, you can have this one to start your collection."
