ICE murdered someone yesterday. The thug who did it needs to be prosecuted, and ICE needs to be immediately dismantled. "Abolish ICE" was always the moderate position. Any politician unwilling to do this, regardless of party, needs to GTFO.

Very frustrating that I have non-technical people in my life who will ask me for advice on things I know nothing about, but when I tell them not to use LLMs, they dismiss it as a personal quirk.

It seems like “a Democratic party campaign consultant” is somebody who professionally pushes Republican framing and messaging about Democrats in order to try make Democrats act like more like Republicans.
A message I just got from a buddy of mine, who’s a long time Democratic Party campaign consultant: “This Sydney Sweeney thing is the kind of thing that turns men away from our party. It’s why men think our party is weak & insane.”
My response to him? “Fuck yea it is. You are exactly right.”

It's sort of funny when those who argue most strenuously for a marketplace of ideas where bad ideas are tested and rejected always always always get the most "concerned" when they encounter a place where bad ideas get rejected for being bad.

Multiple things can be true at the same time. The ACA was certainly better than nothing, and it helped people get health insurance who previously couldn't. But it was also essentially a conservative-crafted plan that still left many people with inadequate healthcare.
