After a fashion, Jack calms down. The pair embrace, and Jack feels more prepared than ever to take on Orin.

Instead of recollections of Orin, they are instead flooded with blood-soaked memories of the atrocities they committed in Bhaal's name. Overwhelming remorse, guilt and terror floods through them, and they fall to pieces in the Rivington barn. Astarion finds them crying alone, and tries to help.

After Gortash's defeat, Jack feels a sense of loss they can't explain. As their duel with Orin approaches, it is imperative they garner as much information about her as possible to ensure greatest chance of success.

Astra and Lae'zel attacked Omeluum for no greater crime than being filthy ghaik scum. He and Blurg teleported away before I could land the finishing blow, so I'm interested to see if they still turn up in Act 3 or not 🤔
