i dont think anyone in dsa is asking for folks to disavow their family or friends for being zionist. there might be a person here or there that thinks that but there's no such official policy

he said he's not a zionist, and thinks that what is being done in gaza is a genocide. he's not the same as his family, don't be weird. like at least 50% of dsa members have at least one maga family member, should we excise them too
