You can tell gig season is in full swing. Third Friday in a row at a concert. So Gabriella & I have dragged our sorry asses back to Manchester, to the Salisbury pub for a pre-gig pint and pizza.

In August I went up to the Cairngorms for a 2 day hike in the mountains. Excellent warm weather helped make it a memorable trip, accompanied by a friend (pictured) who is well on his way to becoming a fully qualified Mountain Leader.
