A group calling itself the 3rd Term Project is calling for a Constitutional Amendment to let Trump have a third term in office. This move is straight out of the authoritarian playbook. We should take it seriously. The man who would be king certainly does. joycevance.substack.com/p/speaking-t...

ICE is trying to deport Native American people to Mexico. This one from the Mescalero Apache Tribe.

That's right. People indigenous to the United States, tribal members. ICE is trying to remove them from the US.

This is the second verified incident I've heard about.

We were here 1st.

Yep. He’s not going to leave now that he’s in. Last time he provoked insurrection.
Representative Andy Ogles, Republican of Tennessee, has filed a resolution to amend the constitutional term limit for presidents from two terms to three, though only if a president’s first two terms were non-consecutive.

1/ Trump claims that he's not surprised by the ruling against him on birthright citizenship because "they put it in front of a certain judge." That Judge happens to be a Reagan appointee who has been on the bench for four decades. He didn't think it was even close. joycevance.substack.com/p/go-judge
Go, Judge!
This morning, John Coughenour, a federal judge in Seattle, put an end to Donald Trump’s pretense that he could undo the constitutional right to birthright citizenship.

On the anniversary of Roe v. Wade being passed, we honor Cecile Richards, who fought unwaveringly for abortion and reproductive health care access until the final days of her life.

We’re ready to make trouble in the fight ahead.

I’ve known Cecile for years through our work in the reproductive rights space. Today, I remember my friend as a fierce and loving advocate for change.
