It must indeed be taboo. The question is why certain politicians with totalitarian tendencies, especially those from Denmark, get away with it and try to push it.

Well, I would assume that "aid package" means free for the recipient. So, perhaps they have got intel that Ukraine is winning and are now slowly adjusting and starting to bet more on Ukraine.

Well, it is more complicated. Shut down capacity is not the same as their current deficit. The refineries didn't work at full capacities to produce the quantity from before the war. They can compensate to some degree by increasing output at intact refineries. What counts is their current deficit. ->
