Thank you for your question! At the end of the astral plane scene, it remains unclear as to whether Jayce and Viktor died, teleported, disappeared, etcetera.

Many fans theorise that they could be alive. Therefore, the mods decided that Jayce and Viktor fall under 'ambiguously-alive characters' which the zine includes in its content scope! Another example of such a character would be Jinx.
