Somewhat concerned that I will need to watch this reboot/alt-route as well and that I might be trapped in this franchise 😩

I semi-accidentally watched the prequel to an anime franchise before the original (didn’t realize it until 6 episodes in & by that point I didn’t feel like stopping). Now I’m trying to watch the original and found out what I thought was the original on Crunchy is actually a reboot/alt-route
