My dad died in 2023 from a terminal rare blood cancer. He was diagnosed in 2021, and he was enrolled in 2 NIH clinical trials, was evaluated as a candidate for many more. It gave him hope and purpose to contribute to science for the future. ♥️

Infuriating. My dad received full disability rating, settlement + first disability check last September 2023, all thanks to PACT Act, specifically Camp Lejeune. It turned out to be his only check as he died 3 weeks later. 💔
