It's also worth watching the BBC News piece from today which beautifully captures how the staff @StNichsBoston go the extra mile and further. There's such a strong beating heart in that school.

Good to see you got out there. The mix of rain + dark + wearing glasses put me off from running last night. 4yrs ago I did such a run - and went crashing into a bus stop (I know - how did I not see it?!). Laid me off running for 4mths, which was more painful than the actual injury. #edurunners

So proud to see the amazing commitment of staff at Boston St Nich's being acknowledged in this way. I've had the privilege of witnessing 1st hand the transformation of the school - truly inspiring.

More to the point, are you waiting to go in for a concert - and if so, who/what? Lovely venue. Got to see David Gilmour there a few years ago and hearing the opening riff to Shine on you crazy diamond as I sat up in the choir stalls was akin to a spiritual experience.

Agreed, Andy. We need to promote more conversations for ourselves and for those we work with/support around the theme of 'showing up for ourselves'.

What a great, honest and thought-provoking blog, Ed. Tone was spot on IMO - and will invite leaders and others to reflect upon the extent to which they s/times don't show up for themselves. You point to things that really do need taking account of if we are to be effective in whatever we do.

I'd echo your recommendation. I wasn't sure about visual of RW's face portrayed as an ape - but have to say it was very powerful and worked so well. A great film - and I hadn't expected to be saying that.

Just into the final episode - for the second time round! Superb! Stephen Graham is one of our finest actors - and he's supported by other excellent actors. A gripping storyline.

Oh my days! That takes me back! And i have to say - what on earth was that all about - having primary age children singing about knights winning their spurs, riding through the land for God and for valour?????
