This thread resonated with me. My daughter is in first year. Never wrote an exam in high school (a covid cohort thing??). They did everything on their Chromebooks, so her printing is an atrocity. She cares deeply about her classes and the material, she just has no tools or skills to engage with it.

When I was way older than I should have been, I was making a cake and it said to mix by hand. My Gramma came into the kitchen and I was elbow deep in batter and despite having three science degrees, I will forever be the family hand mixer.
