I mean how today, Remembrance Day, is being honoured. It’s not constant - and it makes it more real. To me, anyway. The local war memorial is right next to my home. And the whole town is right there.

And I don’t mean the Reformers’ tendency lately to hang the St. George flag all over as a form of anti-immigrant protest. I mean how you don’t see the Union Jack flying in front of everyone’s house and the flag constantly shoved in your face.
