First visit to RSPB Worth Marshes for a couple of years. What a fabulous wetland

Our first day in Costa Rica began with Ferruginous pygmy owl and end with Black and White owl with keel-billed motmot in between. Now at Arenal Observatory Lodge with a stunning view..

Very sad news the death of Marianne Fairhfull. Followed her since As Tears Go By, North Country Maid, Broken English, Give my Love to London and more. An Evening with Marianne at the V&A was an enlightening and amusing evening. Rest in peace.

Great night of laughs at the O2 last night

Wonderful few hours at the Natural History Museum, two excellent exhibitions,Wildlife Photographer of the Year and Birds - Brilliant and Bizarre. Highly recommended.

Our 4 weeks around Portland and Weymouth have come to end. What a last day with hen harrier and Radde's warbler almost the last 2 species seen and possibly our last swallows of the year.
